What is White Noise?

The Noise Shield is effective in drowning out annoying voices and sounds by adding a non-structured noise in the general area with you to mask over other sounds. While the Noise Shield covers over much or all of the unwanted noise, the white noise it generates soon blends into the background because your brain doesn't focus on it.

If you are trying to overcome louder, more aggressive noises, you may want to consider the Sonet System. The Sonet System comes with 2 speakers, a control unit with volume adjustment, and is a Dual-Channel (Stereo) system. By placing one speaker on either side of the bed, it provides better coverage, thereby blocking out more of the noise.
